Bio
Based in Latillé (France), Antoine Hubineau works in the field of electronic music, as a composer, musician and educator, he is also co-founder of Sillages . He owns a Master degree in Computer Music Designer from Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne (FR) and a Musical Studies Diploma in electroacoustic composition from the Conservatory of Bordeaux (FR).
Playing modular synthesizer since 2014, he elaborates the interaction with his instrument by accepting controlled unpredictabilities, pushing him into a dynamic exploration. He plays with blurred contours between repetition and probabilities, between electronic modulations and human gestures. In his hands, sound synthesis become in turns strange acoustic instruments imitations, abstract matter and surreal spaces.
Antoine Hubineau stretches his musical activities in solo, just as much in concert as in studio and works with visual artists and dancers. In 2023, he has released the studio compositions Dissolvè/Scillions on arbitrary (Copenhagen, DK) and Dérives on Le Cabanon (Cuzorn, FR), a tryptic of live compositions. Since 2024, he works on a new solo creation called Entrelacs, combining modular synth, early music and algorithmic principles. With Marine Antony, visual artist, he creates the sound design for his suite of mixed reality installations Aura Cinétique. In 2026, he will release new pieces on the label UNSE (Paris, FR) and on a compilation from Trash Test (Rennes, FR).
