Bio

Based in Latillé (France), Antoine Hubineau works in the electronic music field, as a composer, musician, teacher and co-founder of the Sillages residency.

His practice is focused on sound synthesis, which become alternately pseudo-acoustic instruments, abstract matter and surreal spaces. In his compositions, he makes the most of the cracks between free pulsation and collateral rhythms, between harmonic stability and sound spectrum tearings.

Antoine Hubineau stretches his musical activities in solo, just as much in concert as in studio and collaborates sometime with musicians, visual artists and dancers. He owns a Master degree in Computer Music Designer from Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne (France) and a Musical Studies Diploma in electroacoustic composition from the Conservatory of Bordeaux.

After working as an educator and teacher with SCRIME, Proxima Centauri, GRAME and Saint-Etienne University amongst others, from 2021 he teaches modular synthesis and electronic music history at 3iS (Picture & Sound International Institute ) in Bordeaux (France). Between 2012 and 2018, he hosted his radio show Déphasage on Radio Campus Bordeaux, today he collaborates with Fenêtre Ovale, a collective from Bruxelles, for radiophonic productions aired on LYL radio at some point. Finally, in the past, he was involved in the collectives Stereotop and Primordial Primates in Bordeaux, the event venue Le 17 in Saint-Etienne and with the label Le Cabanon.
