Description by Marine Antony :

Representative of the artist Jean-Luc Vilmouth and Châtellerault, this sculptural and architectural work allows to gaze at the city from the two chimneys made of bricks of the old weapons manufacture at 18 meters from the ground. It offers a path signposted by helixes, straight lines and circles. An experience like a drawing in space through a metallic sounded walk giving unusual viewpoints of the city. I’ve created an extension with a mixed reality work activated by the visitor walk. it depicts a sensory trace, a dynamic memory, the kinetic aura of Comme deux tours breaks away from his referent and plays with the visitor, in the 208 space of the old weapons manufacture just behing the two chimneys.

Created by Antoine Hubineau, the sound of the virtual steps is tuned to the metallic structure by the pitches extracted from its sound spectrum. From a synthetic origin, they convey and recompose its materiality. For amplifying and reinforcing sensations of distance and elevation — as well as the participant speed — space is transforming them : they become an altered memory of the sonorities from Comme deux tours and the past soundscape of the manufacture.
